Introduction to Information Publishing System

(1) The Concept of Multimedia In modern society, multimedia information is ubiquitous. Multimedia information in media information publishing systems includes text, sound, graphics, images, animation, video, etc. "Multimedia" refers to the technology that can simultaneously acquire, process, edit, store, and display two or more different types of information media; it is also called a multimedia information publishing system. Multimedia technology is often linked to computers, due to the digitization and interactive processing capabilities of computers, which have greatly promoted the development of multimedia technology. Multimedia can generally be seen as a new technology or product formed by integrating advanced computer technology with video, audio, and communication technologies. Therefore, we believe that multimedia is the comprehensive processing of text, graphics, images, audio, video, and other multimedia information by computers, establishing logical connections between various types of information, integrating them into a system, and possessing interactivity. It is a rapidly developing comprehensive electronic information technology that has brought profound revolutions to people's work, life, and entertainment.

（2）多媒体信息系统 　　说到多媒体信息系统我们不得不提计算机信息系统。计算机信息系统是指提供信息、辅助人们对环境进行控制和决策的系统，是基于计算机、通信网络等现代化的工具和手段，服务于管理领域的信息处理系统；它是由计算机科学、信息科学、管理科学等多个学科相互渗透而发展起来的一门学科。多媒体信息系统是计算机信息系统的多媒体化得高级发展方向，是新一代高度集成的、功能强大的、智能化的信息系统。多媒体信息系统不仅仅局限于文本、数值，还可以大量地使用图像、动态视频、声音等各种媒体的信息，具有更好的信息表现效果、更好的交互性、更大的信息使用范围。 　

（3）多媒体信息发布和传播的原理： 　　信息的发布和传播是指信息从发送者到接收者的传递过程，这个过程有三个基本要素：发送者、接收者和传播渠道。从传播渠道看有两种方式--单向和双向，单向的传播是发送者单纯的将信息发送和传递出去，不关心接收者是否收到和是否有反馈；双向的传播是接收者对信息的反馈会传递给接受者，双方会有交互和互动。作为信息发布系统出了具有多媒体、云计算等高科技的特性，从传播学角度，该系统作为信息的传播渠道应该是一个双向的沟通网络。
