A remote video conferencing system refers to a system that enables two or more individuals or groups in different locations to exchange sound, images, and documents via transmission lines and multimedia equipment, achieving real-time and interactive communication to accomplish meeting objectives. This system is a typical example of image communication. At the sending end, image and sound signals are converted into digital signals, and at the receiving end, they are reproduced as visually and aurally accessible information. Compared to telephone conferencing, it is more intuitive and contains a larger amount of information. Video conferencing systems not only allow users to hear sound but also see other participants, enabling them to collaboratively discuss issues, study blueprints and physical objects, just like a real meeting, giving each participant a truly immersive experience.
